Kading Saddlery

Kading Saddlery is a family-owned business founded in 2018.  Travis Kading was born and raised in Maricopa Arizona.  He grew up team roping and training horses.   He was also a farrier for over 25 years.  Travis started doing leather work in 2013 as a side job between rodeos and shoeing horses. 

Due to Travis’ extensive background in the equine industry, he felt that the obvious next step in his leather career would be saddle school.  He attended saddle school in 2018 in Weatherford TX. Travis spent the majority of his life in a saddle.  This knowledge, along with saddle school, has helped him develop a saddle that is comfortable and effective for both horse and rider. 

Because of high demand, Travis’ wife, Chelsey, joined the team in 2020.  The two of them build all saddles in house in Casa Grande, Arizona.  Much time and effort is put in to making sure all saddles are built from the highest quality trees, leather, and hardware available.  As demand for Kading Saddles continues to grow, we are always making sure that quality grows as well.  The importance of a well-fitting saddle for horse and rider cannot be more imperative for a successful day in the arena, or on the ranch.  We look forward to building the saddle that is right for you.
